The Story of Jeni and her Brownies
The story of Jeni's Brownies began in the sleepy village of Dolphinholme in May 2016 by Jeni. Who, as a self taught baker, began her baking career in 2012 with Jeni's Cupcakes and started to frequent local farmers markets and food festivals. She then, due to popular demand, progressed to birthday and wedding cakes and has never looked back!
In 2016 feeling like she needed a new challenge the luxury Brownies were created. She tried her Brownies out on her friends until she was happy with her unique recipes and then the Brownies accompanied the Cupcakes out to the food festivals. They were an instant hit.
We make sure our ingredients are locally sourced whenever possible and we have tried a LOT of different types of chocolate, flours and sugars before arriving at the ultimate combination. This is what gives our brownies the luxurious and decadent quality you are all used to! Our brownies are made so you can indulge and treat yourself and your friends to luxury and quality.
Everyone deserves a treat from time to time, if not more often (in my opinion) and this is why we keep our prices as low as possible. You know when you spoil yourself with our brownies that you are getting the full indulgent experience.
We do not think that beetroot and other vegetables belong in brownies, they belong on your salad plate, so we intend to keep them there!
We are constantly asked if we make vegan, dairy free, sugar free, fat free, egg free, fun free etc etc brownies and our answer is that we only do fun filled brownies here.
If you are like me you have good weeks / days where you eat healthily and exercise but on the occasions I treat myself I make it count! I don’t do it half heartedly and I don’t expect you to either!
Our brownies are here to change your world! I would like them to change the world but I’m happy if my brownies can bring a little happiness wherever they go.
I will happily make you bespoke brownies for birthdays or special occasions and if you would like to try a flavour not listed then please just ask as we are expanding our range all the time. All the Brownies are freshly made to order.
