The Brownie Pudding is the newest addition to the Brownie Empire.
It began by accident when a local baker gave us some chocolate puddings to try. I could only manage one mouthful as I am very fussy about where I use my calories up but it got me to thinking about trying one of my own!
After quizzing some of my pudding friends I gave them a try and we were absolutely stunned at how amazing they were!!! You will forget all about your calorie intake whilst eating these!!!
I kid you not, these (in our opinion) are the best brownie / chocolate puddings you will taste.
The pudding is a chocolate brownie base smothered in homemade butterscotch sauce. You remove the lid and warm in the oven for 15 ish mins and then serve on it's own or with ice cream or cream.
These are out of this world!!
Of course we had to have a new logo and sign to go along with this amazing new
Not to make you all laugh too much but this is designed on me!!!! For all those who have seen me on the stalls you will know I have a pink pinny and a pink hair ribbon. Obviously the high heels are a bit of a push!!
You can now purchase them as a deal with four brownies in a box. This helps to keep the postage down and makes them more available to everyone.
Alternatively when you purchase eight brownies you have the option to add a pudding on to your order too.
If anyone has any other ideas I am always open to them :) I am trying to keep postage costs down and share the brownie love at the same time.
If you have one and you love it like we do please tell me all about it and tell all your friends too :) Let's keep spreading the Brownie Love around.
Well the Brownies have been jet setting all over the world in the last month on their holidays!
This lucky Brownie made it state side to New York city and is seen here sailing down the Hudson River towards the Statue of Liberty!!!
She also stayed in the luxurious Walker Hotel in Greenwich Village and they view from her balcony was the Empire State Building! Very lucky Brownie!!!!
This is Yoga Brownie who has the pleasure of being in Portugal at a Yoga retreat. Imagine how wonderful and relaxed she will be now!!!
Just look at that amazing beach and think about all those surfing men!!!!
One lucky brownie!!!!
The last holiday Brownie went to Scotland and although the weather was not quite as good as NY or Portugal she wrapped up well and had a wonderful time. She stayed in a little cottage on the Ederline Estate and went sight seeing and walked Stan and had a lovely lovely time relaxing away from the stresses of everyday life and being part of the crowd!
So the question is.........Where will you take your Brownie????
Well what can I say......Is Jeni's Flapjacks the next thing to be born in my little kitchen?
We have just had four nights in a cottage in Scotland where the lovely owners had left us a tub of homemade flapjack. It was absolutely delicious and Peter was left to eat the flapjack we had brought with us whilst I worked my way through it!!!
It got me thinking to when as a child we used to bake with Grandma in her small kitchen in the Lake District. Her flapjack used to have cornflakes in it as well as oats. So on our return I set about having a go and made a new recipe up and have just taste tested it. I've eaten two bits and now feel like I can't move!
It's made with lashings of golden syrup and butter, there's no place for margarine in this recipe, it's absolutely marvellous!!!
So if you're not in the mood for chocolate then try this fabulous flapjack.
These Caramel Krispie Brownies have been flying out this month! They are part of our Gourmet Range and are like a full meal in one Brownie!! A scrummy chocolate brownie which is them covered in Rice Krispies which are lathered in melted Mars Bars and homemade caramel sauce. These are very special!!!
We are taking a limited number to each event with us and needless to say they are the first to sell out!!
Have you any childhood favourties that we could make into brownies? Let me know if you have something you would like me to try.
Well look what happened!!!! This is one of my favourite ever Brownies and I can not stop eating them!!!!
A delicious mint chocolate brownie with minty buttercream topped with lashings of milk chocolate frosting.........what's a girl supposed to do!!!!
Apparently the official name for them is Grasshopper Brownies and being an old fashioned kind of gal I thought we should stick with it :)
I was unsure how they would travel so I asked for some volunteers and sent four boxes out in the post. I am very please to say that they all arrived in perfect condition.
I have now listed them in the shop so if you like mint then these brownies are a must for you!!!
In order for my Brownies to take over the world I have been looking into getting them packaged so they can be available in local shops.
The world of packaging is an absolute nightmare!!!!! I have given up my business various times over the last few months and decided I am getting too big for my boots and should just stay doing the Food Festivals and shows.
But then I have a chat with myself and carry on!!! Nothing worthwhile was ever easy...isn't that what they say!!!
So we have had talks, trial runs, sent hundreds of emails to packaging and printing companies....the list goes on.
I have had a new logo designed which is supposed to be me hahahhaha and I am very pleased with it.
We have bought various bags to trial with our heat sealer and have had stickers printed to begin with. I packaged a few up yesterday to see how long they last for and some are going to be having a very exciting trip soon.....watch this space!!
I have hopefully now sourced some laminated card which will enable me to have the brownies flow wrapped which will keep them fresher for longer than my heat sealer but I am just waiting on these arriving.
The packaging world is not set up for small businesses and everyone wants you to order things by the 15000 min!!! It is a minefield out there!!!
So the new logo is below :) Let me know what you think :)
It's Taste Cumbria in Ulverston this weekend. There are loads of amazing stalls and I am really looking forward to it. It's a great trip out if you are looking for something to do. I've been madly baking this week and have got nearly 600 brownies and 720 cupcakes ready!!!! No mean feat!! There are Chocolate, Salted Caramel, Oreo, Peanut Butter, Mint Areo and Jaffa Cake brownies on sale. No rest for the wicked though as we are at Accrington Food Festival next weekend so straight back to it on Monday morning!!! Have a great bank holiday everyone xxx
So here we have our latest product which we are very excited about. These Browndies are round chocolate brownies with a buttercream topping and then finished off with beautiful sprinkles. The are absolutely gorgeous. A little bit of glamour for the brownie!!
Here they are....the first ever 'Flavour of the Month' Brownies !!! I thought it was only fitting that they should be Easter related so I've decided on the Creme Egg!!!!
These can be ordered via the Shop Page for the month of April in boxes of six or eight depending on how good or bad you are feeling!!!
