Today I have launched my first Facebook Promotion! I am trying to increase the sales of my online Brownies and expand that side of my business, so now only time will tell! If you have enjoyed my brownies please tell your friends and consider them for gifts for friends and family or even a treat for yourself!!! Freshly baked and then posted first class....what could be better than Brownies in the post? :)
A HUGE Thank you to everyone who came to see us in the run upto Christmas last year. The Brownies were a MASSIVE success and I am having a few days off now to recover and regroup! We had an amazing time at all our stalls, even if it was a bit crazy here trying to get all the baking done and the stalls organised. I could not manage with out Peter, my long suffering husband and Sharon, my bestie.
It was great to see people at more than one event too and it is so lovely when people back come and buy more brownies, it makes me feel like I am doing something right!!!
Brownie baking is booming in the kitchen with the brownies wanting to go out to all the Christmas Fairs. I have been making all our usual favourites including Oreo, Red Velvet, Chocolate Orange and Salted Caramel and they have been flying off the shelves!
The brownies have now been to a few Christmas Fairs and are having a lovely time :) Every one of them has found a new home each time we have been out with the exception of Clitheroe Market which was a little quieter than we had thought. We are in Clitheroe for the next three Saturdays and hopefully word has been passed around and the crowds will be flocking in. If you need more information then click here to find out all the fab things taking place each Saturday in Clitheroe :)
Ulverston Dickensian Weekend was once again amazing and we always look forward to that event.
This weekend the brownies will once again be at Clitheroe Northern Star Market and then at Guy's Court to watch Santa Barge in on Sunday. The cupcakes will be accompaning them on Sunday :)
We hope to see you out and about and please come over and say 'Hello' if you see us anywhere. We love to meet you :)
Yesterday the Brownies went to their first Christmas Fair. It was held at Astley Park in Chorley and was in aid of Derian House . It was a fantastic day and all the Brownies found people to take them home :) Jeni's Cupcakes were a huge success aswell. The reindeer came out to play and there were hundreds of Christmas stalls. They have lots of more parties to go to so if you want to find out where they are in the run upto Christmas then take a look at our event page. We would love to see you out and about :)
Yesterday I baked some Chocolate Orange Brownies ready to give to some friends as a 'cheer up' gift. The Chocolate Orange Brownies are their favourite and ones that I really only make to order. So this morning I plan to leave them hanging on their electric gates and text them to say a parcel has been delivered! I hope no passing walker pinches them before they find them!!!!
Needless to say I have just been cutting them up and had to just have a little taste......for quality control purposes obviously hahaha They are so scrummy and amazing............................ I think I might sneak one back to bed now with my cup of tea........how better to start the day than with a Brownie!!!
Have a great day guys :)
Hi all, well this is my first blog post!
I'll introduce myself. I am Jeni Ball and I live in a cosy house in Dolphinholme. I started Jeni's Cupcakes four years ago and have built up a wonderful customer base.
This year I felt the need to try something new and after selling cupcakes for the last four years at fairs and food festivals I wanted to provide something else to tempt you with.......and Jeni's Brownies was born!
I began trying out recipies and testing them on my friends for honest feedback and after some trial and error, I put together a few recipies that everyone loved. I then took the Brownies out on the road to keep the cupcakes company and they flew off the table!
The Brownies first solo outing was to Clitheroe Food Festival in August where we sold out and everyone loved them. It was an amazing day with people coming back later to buy more brownies as they had eaten their first lot!
So since then the Brownies have had a few more road trips and everyone gives wonderful feedback and they fly off the table.
The brownies have just become available online and can now be ordered through the website. They make a lovely gift or an amazing treat for yourselves!
So that is me in a nutshell. I hope you all enjoy my blog and I will take you all with me on my Brownie adventures :) x
Hi, I'm Jeni Ball and I would like my Brownies to rule the world!!!!
